Illinois Flat Fee MLS FAQ Does it only cost $299 to sell my home?

Yes, you can sell your home for as little as $299. However, when a property is listed in the MLS it’s customary to offer a commission to a buyer’s agent, this is usually between 2-3% of the sales price. IllinoisRealEstate.com will never charge a back-end commission or any additional fees other than the package and options you choose.

How Long do I Need To Sign Up For?

Our listing agreements are for 1 year, but you can renew for another year FREE of charge by notifying us in writing at flatfee@illinoisrealestate.com within 30 days of the contract expiring. You can cancel your property listing at anytime!

What if I Find a Buyer Myself?

With our Flat Fee MLS listing you still retain the right to sell by owner. In the event you find a buyer and they are not represented by a licensed real estate agent, then there is no commission due.

What Happens When a Contract is Submitted?

All contracts to purchase should be sent to IllinoisRealEstate.com either via fax, 312-253-2049 or emailed to flatfee@illinoisrealestate.com. Upon receipt of the contract we will contact you immediately and go through the entire contract and discuss the best course of action. We’ll then help you negotiate and assist you all the way through closing. Please note- IllinoisRealEstate.com does not hold earnest money, so your attorney will most likely need to hold it in their trust or escrow account.
