Old Town (sometimes called Old Town Triangle) is a neighborhood in Chicago, Illinois, bounded by Armitage on the north, Division Street on the south, Halsted on the west, and Clark Street on the east.
Old Town is located south of Lincoln Park and just east of the Gold Coast, and Wicker Park is located just west of this area with the gallery district blending into Old Town, offering rich artistic cultural experiences to its residents.
Old Town is considered an affluent and historic neighborhood home to many of Chicago’s older, Victorian-era buildings. The neighborhood is also home to St. Michaels Church, one of few buildings to survive the great Chicago Fire.
Housing in this area is consistent with the housing prices in Lincoln Park and a bit more affordable than the Gold Coast. Due to it’s location amongst some of Chicago’s wealthiest areas and it’s close proximity to downtown, Old Town is a great place to live for all ages.
